Okay, so I have a lot to say about this. I was kind of nervous about uploading these...

I'll begin by saying that; from what I've gathered from being an artist through critiques is not to point out things that you feel are wrong with your artwork and such, and pretend that everything was done intentionally, and has a purpose (even though in critiques I end up doing this anyways). XD I also don't usually point out my insecurities either...

BUT!
I did a photo shoot that was inspired by Gravitation. After studying the outfits that Shuichi wears on each of the manga covers, I went through all the clothes in my drawers and closet and picked out clothes that I felt were Shuichi-ish, or something that he would wear. (~TheMadD helped me pick them out) Then I did a small photo shoot with a few different outfits!

The wig I am wearing IS my Shuichi wig, although since it had been sitting in the bag, it had become un-styled, so I had to brush it out. I then proceeded to try to style it myself, but I didn't really like how it turned out (because apparently I suck at hair-styling)...So I messed with it a bit more and ended up with what you see in the photos. I know it's not perfect, but I have seen several other people who pretty much have just a "flat" wig and I thought they looked pretty darn adorable anyhow XD
I think I'll probably ask ~endofnonentity to help me style it again, in a different approach than last time...

On another note - a character with a face like Shuichi is not someone I would normally cosplay. I don't really think that I have the right facial shape to cosplay the round-faced, big-eyed, cute characters...but this originally came up, when my friend, ~DirtbagChick wanted to cosplay as Hiroshi, and I wanted to cosplay from Gravitation with her, since I had a huge love/obsession with it way back....mehhh....QUITE a few years ago (and now I feel old). XD
Translation: I don't think I'm cute enough for characters like him, I honestly think I'd have more of a face for someone like Yuki. XD

ALSO, if I were rich...I would LOVE to make all the crazy outfits that he wears on the manga cover....if I were rich and had enough time in my schedule to do so. XD
