Otakon 2013

Reality is a bummer! The weekend flew by far too quickly. Had a overall relatively good time at Otakon 2013, despite still being sick from the cold I'd had from the week before, as well as trying to survive the heat, and fixing up the many costume malfunctions occurring over the weekend. (And the discovery that wearing 5 inch heels at a con was a complete mistake, and destructive to my feet).
Went home with some cool stuff in hand, as well as some great new memories. I can finally cross "seeing T.M.Revolution" off of my bucket list, (a band that I have loved since middle school), and I'm glad that I got to share the experience with some of my best friends, as well as my darling boyfriend.
Wish I could have done a bit more over the weekend than what I got to do, and having someone recognize me as my cosplay name was a pretty cool, yet a bit awkward. but with such a large con, and scheduling, its hard to fit everything in.
Glad I got to see and hang out with some of my friends, although I wish I could have seen some people for a longer period of time, or could have seen some people that I didn't get to meet up with. You all know who you are!! It's sad that some of you live so far away
In any case, hope to see you guys again soon~! See ya at the next con!♥

Where Have I Been?

Hey all,
It's been quite a long time since I've updated on here, so I guess I should say something, at least a little update of some sort.
So, I didn't end up going to Katsucon back in February, because I had just moved into a new apartment the month before, and funds were very limited. I haven't gotten to work on cosplay that I would really like to, but...
I should be going to a convention next weekend: Tekkoshocon!
I plan to have a few simple, but new cosplays...and some old ones.
I'm planning to be wearing:
-Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil 2)
-Cassandra Anderson (Judge Dredd) *A friend of mine is going to be Dredd
-Helena Harper (Resident Evil 6)
Hopefully I will be able to post up some cosplay pics after the con! So, look forward to that!

Yeah! ...Stuff and What-not!

I really don't have too much to say at the moment, other than I would like to mention, if you were friends with my Cosplay account on Facebook, it got deleted awhile ago, when they decided to go ahead and delete every account that had the word "cosplay" in the name...
So I decided to make a page on Facebook instead, if you are interested in keeping up with me, with more progress type stuff (or just random stuff), please don't hesitate to 'Like' my page, or even 'Share' it with your friends!!

********Conventions and Cosplay********
The only other conventions I have planned right now would be Katsucon, in February, and Tekkoshocon in either March/April. I am currently trying to slowly gather stuff to work on cosplay. I would like to get all of my costumes done as soon as possible, as well as helping my friends out with theirs because I would NOT like to happen with Otakon, happen again >.<.... the two weeks before Otakon 2012, I was frantically trying to work on 3 costumes at once (one for me, my bf, and my other friend). This made me really stressed out, and I was completely drained by the time the convention came around...by then I was so sick of cosplay, that I don't think I enjoyed the convention as much as I should have. XD
In any case, I currently plan to make (for myself):
Amane Nishiki - Blazblue Chrono Phantasma
Jaden Yuki - Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
Lunatic (Casual) - Tiger & Bunny
These are not the only cosplay I intend to bring to either of these conventions, or will solidly plan to bring to either of these, but those are the cosplay I plan to work on right now. Any others I bring would be ones that I already have made. I'll let you all know when it gets closer to convention time. Look forward to updates and such~!
